2月11日（水）本校で開催されました「第15回日本高校生パーラメンタリーディベート連盟杯 HPDU Competition 2026 第1回滋賀県大会」で優勝することができました。
論題が発表されてから30分で準備をして、英語で対戦する大会です。
対戦結果は以下の通りです。
＜論題＞
第一試合
This House would establish schools exclusively for LGBTQ students.
第二試合
This House believes that the rise of “cut-off culture” does more harm than good.
Info: “Cut-off culture” refers to the social phenomenon of figuratively cutting people out of one’s life. Anyone from acquaintances to significant figures which may include, but are not limited to, close friends and family members are capable of being cut-off from one’s life. This act is most commonly, though not exclusively, done at or after the point of conflict/tension within a relationship.
第三試合
This House believes that the professionalization of sports does more harm than good.
Info: For the purposes of this debate, professionalization refers to the process by which organizations, systems, and participation transform from a volunteer driven to an increasingly business-like phenomenon.
